This position pays $35-$37/hr plus per diem ($166 daily for non-local candidates) and looking for someone to start ASAP.
Prior power plant / warehouse experience is REQUIRED.
If you have the experience below, please APPLY TODAY! GENERAL SUMMARY The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the receiving and inventory functions for the plant.
Administers the plant's inventory program and identifies the need for improvements and increased capabilities.
This position assures that the inventory of parts and equipment is complete and accurate.
In addition, the Warehouse Technician will provide support with purchasing activities for the plant.
The scope of responsibility in this position includes the following primary functions:
Ensure accurate entry, proofing, and submission of purchase orders based on stock replenishment and management direction.
This includes proper product costing, shipping instructions, and resolving any changes or discrepancies.
Maintain records of all fixed assets and purchase requisitions and obtain all necessary signatures for approval Deal directly with vendors to track order status and follow up on deliveries, tracking the progress of shipments and addressing any problems.
Receive, store, ship and issue all items, materials and equipment.
Assure all received items are properly inspected, accounted for, documented and stored Maintain and utilize system (CMMS) for inventory control purposes Coordinate transfers in and out of the warehouse, tracking all movements Maintain inventory of all goods, including sorting, counting and organizing Effectively communicate information to plant management relative to the condition of the warehouse and availability of material Will assist Maintenance in mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment Complete other tasks as requested by plant management JOB QUALIFICATIONS Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired in four years of high school.
This position entails the utilization of a forklift for the loading, unloading and movement of various materials and equipment component parts.
Must maintain proper certification for operation of a forklift.
Additionally, we are looking for a candidate who has:
General accounting experience Warehouse experience to include shipping, receiving and inventory control Knowledge and understanding of purchasing procedures Experience using computerized accounting and inventory control systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail Time management, prioritization and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills One year experience with a mechanical trade is desirable.

- Perform picking and packing duties in a warehouse environment - Utilize order picker equipment to retrieve items from designated locations - Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order picking process - Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment - Operate cherry picker equipment to access high shelves or racks - Receive and process incoming shipments, including unloading, sorting, and verifying contents - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling packages appropriately - Maintain a clean and organized work area Skills:
- Experience in order picking and fulfillment within a distribution center or warehouse setting - Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate order picker and cherry picker equipment - Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures, including handling of heavy items - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment - Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required Note:
